A Happy New Year and a Space Odyssey to ane and a' (one and all, for you non-Scots oot there). Back to life, back to reality, our noses return to the grindstone with as much friction as a rear tyre on the Athlone bypass last Thursday. We escaped the snow but we cannot escape the inevitable.
