Once more the gallant losers, Ireland fluff their penalty kicks and miss the opportunity to reach the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Korea after battling back to equalise with a last-minute penalty against Spain who then played extra time with only ten men. Ian was relieved at Ireland's exit, since, the way things were going, hot water and towels could well have been required had Sharon got any more excited!
