Thanks to Pete and Tracy for their hospitality as they welcomed us to their fine new house in the west of Aberdeen. Apologies for sitting on the sofa the whole time we were there but you couldn't take your eyes off that Ryder Cup! Praise of the European team is more eloquently stated elsewhere but it was no surprise that an Irishman sunk an unexpected winning putt!
