Sean announced at dinner this evening that he was born in the year of the Horse. Evidently he was doing a bit on the Chinese New Year at school and his teacher told them this. He also learnt to say "Happy New Year" in Chinese. It will serve him well for the coming of the next economic empire.
I told Sean that I too was the year of the Horse, being 36 years older than him. I also pointed out that Mammy and Rowan would be the same sign too, there being 36 years between them, but that Finn would be a different sign to the rest of us. As if we couldn't have guessed that anyway.
Having looked it up, sure enough, Finn was born in the year of the Monkey! It all sounds very familiar. Rowan is the year of the Dog. Not that we believe in any of that nonsense, no matter how accurate the descriptions seem to be!
